Manic Mondays is an ongoing program that provides space access for individual artists and collectives of creatives, including writers, artists, dancers, and musicians, who need a venue for their practice – this can be anything from a short rehearsal, personal photo shoot or small meetings. By providing access to space at no cost, Manic Mondays supports the artistic production of local artists and performers.
How it works:
Manic Mondays take place on the first Monday of each month. A maximum of 2 hour-long blocks can be booked between 9am and 5pm. Bookings may be requested up to one month in advance of the next Manic Monday (ie; on June 1st for the Manic Monday happening on July 1st). Appointments are first come, first serve and take place when there is no public access to the facility. The Small Arms Inspection Building can provide Wifi, tables and chairs are available for use (set-up and take-down is the responsibility of the artist). Please note that rotating exhibitions will be in the space during Manic Mondays, see website for more details on upcoming shows.
